The Oct. 28 Counter-Strike 2 update added an unlisted “Big Head” mode, dust2.us reported. Valve’s notes for that update list a silent reload option and a few bug fixes.
How Big Head mode works
According to dust2.us, the mode runs on the Casual Defusal Group Alpha maps. Players’ head size changes with their K/D ratio: a positive K/D makes a head bigger, and a negative K/D makes it smaller. The outlet also reported that the update teases future “mutators” that will affect gameplay.
Under the line “Active Mutators:” the game’s English text file lists “Big Head Mode.”
