As of Oct. 15, 2026, Valve’s official grenade guide for Anubis lists seven lineups: six smokes and one molotov. This page collects them as the guide names them.

The guide marks each lineup with a standing spot, an aim point and a destination.

Official Anubis lineups

Valve titles the lineups Heaven, Left B Site, T Stairs, Mid, Window and A Main, with Window used twice: once for a smoke and once for a molotov. Every lineup in the guide is marked as a jump throw.

For the standing spot, the guide gives the same instruction every time: “Stand in Corner.”

Lineup Grenade Aim point in Valve’s guide
Heaven Smoke Middle of box edge
Left B Site Smoke Top of vines
T Stairs Smoke The leaf
Mid Smoke Edge of trim
Window Smoke Corner of the roof
Window Molotov Right corner of the raised tile
A Main Smoke Top of roof in line with stone square

How to read a lineup

Each lineup in the guide has three parts:

  1. The standing spot, which shows the lineup’s title and the instruction to stand in the corner.
  2. The aim point, which describes what to put the crosshair on.
  3. The destination, which marks where the grenade is meant to end up.

Throw notes from the guide

  • The Window smoke is the one lineup where Valve spells out the mouse button: “Left Click Jump Throw.”
  • The other six aim descriptions end with “Jump Throw.”

Map changes in the June 3, 2020 release notes

Valve’s release notes dated June 3, 2020 list these changes for Anubis:

  • Improved performance.
  • Redesigned B main path and entrance.

Valve wrote the Anubis entry under the “MAPS” heading of the same notes that also added a missing glowy eyes texture to Chlorine.
