- Whatnames Dust II as the only map Falcons can count on
Team Falcons coach Danny “zonic” Sorensen listed the problems his team has had this season after their exit from IEM Beijing 2026, Cybersport.ru reported.
According to the outlet, zonic said Dust II is currently the only map on which Falcons can expect a good result, and even there he is not fully certain. He called the other maps much harder for the team.
Trouble on their own picks
zonic said Falcons have often faced teams with a higher seed lately. Opponents’ picks do not bother them, he said, but when a map is their own pick, they fall apart completely. He said he does not know whether the cause is psychological or comes from starting the map on the attacking side.
He added that when the team fails early in a map, the players forget their strategies. In his words, they lack patience and communicate badly with one another. zonic said this has gone on all season.
