Valve assigns BC.Game to Asia for Singapore 2026 Major
Valve added a Singapore 2026 Major exception to its CS2 tournament rules: BC.Game are assigned to the Asia region and eligible for a Major invitation.

Valve has added a Singapore 2026 Major exception to its Counter-Strike 2 tournament rules, assigning BC.Game to the Asia region. The change was committed to Valve’s rules and regulations repository on GitHub on Oct. 7.
The new entry says BC.Game are “assigned to the Asia region and are eligible for a Major invitation.” It names five players: asap, Magisk, mzinho, s1mple and Senzu.
The line was added to the tournament operation requirements exceptions file, with the commit message “Adding Singapore 2026 Major exception.”
Other listed exceptions
The entry sits in a table of event-specific exceptions to Valve’s operating requirements. Other entries in the table include:
- ACL X CS2 2026may announce and operate a Tier 1 Asia event with a shorter timeframe than required for Tier 1 events, and may invite 16 teams from the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) instead of 20.
- BLAST Rivalsmay run one Wildcard event after two Tier 1 events instead of three.
- IEM Krakowmay run a match for third and fourth place and divide the fourth-place prize pool accordingly.
- XPL 2026may invite 16 teams from the VRS instead of 20.
Why it matters
BC.Game's five players are now eligible for a Major invitation as an Asia-region team, which affects who can be invited to the Singapore 2026 Major.
