Team Spirit coach hally says he needs an MRI, Cybersport.ru reports

Team Spirit coach Sergei “hally” Shavaev said he still has episodes of poor health and needs an MRI, Cybersport.ru reported on Nov. 2. The coach spoke in the team’s vlog from PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, explaining why he missed one of Spirit’s match days.

According to Cybersport.ru, hally said in Russian that he felt strong dizziness as early as the day of the flight. In every match, including the games against BETBOOM TEAM and FURIA, the dizziness lasts the whole day rather than coming during the match itself, he said.

The coach added that he is looking into his blood vessels and needs an MRI to see what is going on. For now, he said, Dima (S0tf1k) would stand behind the players on an emergency basis.

What happened at the tournament

Spirit played their fourth-round group-stage match against MOUZ without hally, and MOUZ won the series 2-1, Cybersport.ru wrote. He was back behind the players for the next match, but Spirit lost to Natus Vincere and were eliminated.

Earlier absences

Cybersport.ru wrote that hally has missed team matches and whole tournaments before because of health problems. Spirit played IEM Cologne Major 2026 without him and finished third-fourth. He returned to work at the end of June, the outlet reported.
