SunPayus won't get Major sticker, cmtry will, Cybersport.ru reports

Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia will not receive an in-game sticker for PGL Major Singapore 2026, Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 29, citing HLTV.org. The sticker will go to Nikita “cmtry” Samoletov instead.

According to the report, Garcia played only four official matches for FUT Esports after moving from G2 Esports. Under Valve Regional Standings (VRS) rules, he needed at least five before invites are issued on Nov. 2 to count as part of the FUT Esports main roster.

FUT Esports were eliminated from PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 in the quarterfinal, losing 0-2 to Nemiga Gaming. Garcia could not reach the required number of matches and can attend the Major only as a substitute, the outlet wrote.

What it means for cmtry

Cybersport.ru wrote that the sticker goes to cmtry, who under the rules still counts as part of the FUT Esports roster. The outlet added that he cannot play for Astralis at the Major. According to Cybersport.ru, when a player appears on the registrations of two teams, the team with the higher VRS rating gets priority.

jL and apEX at Vitality

Cybersport.ru also pointed to an earlier report that Justinas “jL” Lekavicius could receive a sticker in place of Dan “apEX” Madesclaire. The outlet said this could happen because Lekavicius played more than five matches for Team Vitality at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.
