sdy returns to Monte, Cybersport.ru reports

Monte have added Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev to their Counter-Strike 2 roster, Russian-language outlet Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 14. The organization announced the change on its social media channels, according to the outlet.

Orudzhev is not new to the club. He played for Monte from January 2023 to February 2024.

sdy’s path back

According to Cybersport.ru, he joined ENCE after leaving Monte and played for them from May 2024. In spring 2026, ENCE moved their international roster to the bench, and Orudzhev played for Passion UA on loan.

His ENCE contract expired at the end of June, and he became a free agent, the outlet reported.

Cybersport.ru described Orudzhev as Monte’s first player since the club sold its roster to Luminosity Gaming. It said it was unknown who would play alongside him and when the team would debut in the new lineup.

Earlier dispute

The outlet recalled that in August former Monte players Alex “Rainwaker” Petrov, Oscar “AZUWU” Bell and Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras spoke about salary problems at the organization. Club representatives responded by poking fun at Bymas, Cybersport.ru wrote.

Monte’s CEO later said the former players had moved to Luminosity Gaming without telling the club, according to Cybersport.ru.
