Sashi Esport has terminated the contracts of two more players on its Counter-Strike 2 roster, Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 23. The outlet cited a comment from club owner Klaus D0KT0R3N Nielsen to Dust2.dk.

The departing players are the Australians TjP and Hatz, who joined the roster on Oct. 5. Cybersport.ru wrote that D0KT0R3N said the reason was not the team’s poor results at tournaments but a change in rules from Valve.

Valve rule change

According to Cybersport.ru, Sashi Esport signed three players from the Asian region in early October to try to qualify for PGL Major Singapore 2026 through Asia. After the reshuffle, Valve changed the Major’s regulations. The outlet reported that this kept the club from establishing itself in the new region before invites were issued.

Cybersport.ru also wrote that right after the announcement, the team parted with one of the players it had announced three days earlier.

Why it matters

TjP and Hatz are no longer on Sashi Esport's Counter-Strike 2 roster, which they joined on Oct. 5, the club's owner said, according to Cybersport.ru.
