Key facts

  • WhatFalcons placed no higher than fourth at six events since the Major, per Cybersport.ru

Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostylev said that Team Falcons’ m0NESY is currently among the five best players in the world but not in the top three. Cybersport.ru reported the comment, which s1mple gave to 5EPlay.

According to the outlet, s1mple said the AWPer is not showing the maximum of his abilities right now. He said the problem is not m0NESY himself but Falcons, where he sees certain internal problems that stop the player from reaching his real level.

Six months ago versus now

s1mple said m0NESY played much better about six months ago, before the Major began. Even so, he added, m0NESY performs brilliantly next to his teammates at most tournaments.

Cybersport.ru added its own figures to the comment. After winning IEM Cologne Major 2026, Falcons played six tournaments and did not finish higher than fourth at any of them. The outlet put m0NESY’s average rating over that period at 1.32.

Why it matters

s1mple puts m0NESY in the world's top five but outside the top three. He says Falcons' internal problems keep the player from his true level.
