Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov has given possible reasons for the drop in form of Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin in Counter-Strike 2, Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 21. According to the Russian outlet, chopper could not point to one problem behind the slump.
What chopper said
As relayed by Cybersport.ru, chopper said that players often go through slumps and that they come in different forms. He added that you can never say exactly why one happens.
He then offered several possibilities: kyousuke may have taken on some new role, there may be problems inside the team, or his teammates may be playing worse, which then weighs on his own role.
He also said it is hard to say anything without analysis, or simply without watching.
Thorin on Falcons
Cybersport.ru also recalled an earlier comment on Team Falcons from Duncan “Thorin” Shields. According to the outlet, Thorin believes that if kyousuke wins an MVP award at even one tournament, the team will immediately start to dominate the professional scene.
Why it matters
Chopper offered possible explanations for kyousuke's slump but did not settle on one, saying it is hard to judge without analysis or without watching.
