PARIVISION coach Dastan “dastan” Akbaev said he hopes the current roster can go further than at previous tournaments, Cybersport.ru reported on Nov. 2. He spoke to HLTV.org after the team’s win over G2 Esports at IEM Beijing 2026.

According to Cybersport.ru, PARIVISION won the Group B match 2-1. They lost Dust II 13-9, then won Anubis 13-7 and Ancient 13-9. Their next opponent is Team Liquid, and the winner of that match takes a playoff slot.

Akbaev said every win matters to him and that he is glad because all teams are playing well right now. He said he had worked on not showing a bad mood. After the first map he pulled himself together and began communicating with the team differently.

He said he hopes this approach lasts and helps the team perform better. In his words, the most important thing is to fix mistakes and win. If the team loses more often, he said, the atmosphere will turn bad and everything could change.

Akbaev said that at AVANGAR, Virtus.pro and PARIVISION, his teams have historically been able to play well in the most important moments, such as Majors or key matches. At regular tournaments, he said, things do not work out as well: the team cannot win consistently or reach the playoffs every time.

PARIVISION lost 2-0 at Thunderpick World Championship 2026, then played better at ESL Pro League Season 24. He said the team wants to qualify for the Major.

Akbaev said he hopes the team keeps progressing and becomes more stable with such a dense schedule.
