Natus Vincere (NAVI) play Team Vitality in a best-of-three at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, with a place in the playoffs at stake. NAVI published a preview on Oct. 27 and wrote that the match starts that day at 6 p.m. CET. They also wrote that they still have two chances to qualify after losing 0-2 to BB the day before.

NAVI described Vitality as the world’s second-ranked team. The French club is playing the event with a stand-in: jL is temporarily filling in for captain apEX.

How both teams got here

NAVI opened the tournament with 2-0 wins over G2 and FURIA. BB then beat them in the match that could have sent them through.

Vitality also started with two 2-0 wins, over 9z and MongolZ. They lost their next match to FUT, who NAVI wrote were stronger on Dust II and Anubis.

Head-to-head

According to NAVI, the two teams have met five times in 2026, with Vitality holding a slight advantage. NAVI won the two most recent meetings, at IEM Atlanta 2026 in May and at ESL Pro League Season 24 in October.

NAVI wrote that they hope one win will be enough to reach the playoffs and earn points in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

Why it matters

According to NAVI, a win over Vitality would send them to the playoffs. They wrote that they have two chances left to qualify and earn VRS points.
