Mauisnake says m0NESY would make BETBOOM TEAM a contender

Counter-Strike 2 analyst Mauisnake said on the Snake & Banter podcast that a move to BETBOOM TEAM would suit Team Falcons players m0NESY and kyousuke. Cybersport.ru reported his comments in a Russian-language article on Oct. 24.

What Mauisnake said about the move

He said the two players obviously would not much like the switch in terms of monthly pay, since he is sure Team Falcons pay them much more. As a team, though, he would not mind seeing m0NESY in place of zorte and kyousuke in place of d1Ledez. He added that he would not want S1ren in place of TeSeS and that he would like to see Magnojez alongside kyousuke.

On m0NESY, Mauisnake said he can be sent to any roster. If he left Team Falcons and was replaced by someone like woxic, he said, the organization would hardly reach the playoffs. A transfer to BETBOOM TEAM, in his words, would immediately make that team a contender for the final stage of every championship.

His view of kyousuke

Mauisnake said kyousuke would become a more functional part of BETBOOM TEAM. At Team Falcons, he said, he is still not sure how well the player has settled in or how comfortable he is from round to round, because something sometimes seems to be missing.

He called kyousuke unstable and said it would be madness if zonic, karrigan, NiKo and, to some extent, m0NESY did not try to reach him and help him raise his level. According to Mauisnake, kyousuke played so poorly at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 that there was talk of replacing him.

Falcons’ record with the pair

Cybersport.ru wrote that m0NESY joined Team Falcons in April and kyousuke in June 2025. Since then the team has won only IEM Cologne Major 2026, the outlet wrote. The team also finished second at three tier-1 tournaments in 2026, and its next event is IEM Beijing 2026, according to Cybersport.ru.
