Falcons must build on small wins, captain karrigan says

Team Falcons captain Finn “karrigan” Andersen said his team has to grab onto small wins and turn them into momentum, Cybersport.ru reported. He spoke to HLTV.org after Falcons beat FaZe Clan in the group stage of IEM Beijing 2026.

The Falcons captain said it frustrates him that his team often wins maps their opponents pick but has recently failed to win on its own picks. Falcons played well on Anubis when opponents chose it, he said, but when they took it themselves on Nov. 3, it looked worse.

In his words, Falcons now need to cling to the small wins they manage to get and turn them into momentum for further progress.

HLTV.org had asked him for his impressions of the match, noting that the win was not an easy one.

Falcons beat FaZe 2-1 on the morning of Nov. 3 and moved into the second round of the lower bracket in Group A. Cybersport.ru listed the map scores:

• AncientFalcons won 13-3
• AnubisFaZe won 13-10
• MirageFalcons won 13-7

Their next opponent is Heroic.
