Finnish esports organization ENCE has begun bankruptcy proceedings, the Russian-language outlet Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 26. The outlet cited a statement from club representatives on social media.

According to Cybersport.ru, the board of directors of ENCE eSports Oy made what the statement called a difficult decision to file for bankruptcy after 13 years. The club thanked its players, staff and partners, and its fans for staying with the team through wins and losses. Its final word was “GG.”

Club structure and history

ENCE was founded in spring 2013, when it entered the professional Counter-Strike scene, Cybersport.ru wrote. At the time of the outlet’s publication, the club listed a main roster, an academy roster and two content creators.

The outlet said ENCE finished on the podium at many major international events, including BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 and IEM Dallas 2023. Its rosters played at six Majors. One of them finished as runner-up at the IEM Katowice Major 2019.

Recent results

Cybersport.ru reported that since 2025 ENCE has qualified for tier-A and tier-S events far less often and has won only three tier-B or lower tournaments.

In March 2026 the organization dropped its international roster, which included Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, according to the outlet. The club explained the move by saying it could not sustain the level of investment needed to keep a top-level team. ENCE then returned to developing talented Finnish players, but the outlet wrote that this did not bring significant results.
