Former Team Spirit Counter-Strike 2 captain Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov will concentrate on content creation after ending his career as a player, Cybersport.ru reported on Nov. 6. The outlet said he shared the plans in a comment to BETBOOM.
What chopper plans to do
According to Cybersport.ru, chopper said he now sees his future in streaming and in developing his YouTube work. He wants to make educational videos and share his in-game experience and his view of Counter-Strike.
He said he can tell a lot about the game and help others overcome problems and barriers he once faced himself. Over his years in the game and the CS industry, he said, he has built up a lot of experience and a better understanding of how everything works. He wants to pass that knowledge on through media and help other players improve.
Going solo
chopper said a completely new stage is starting for him. He has been working in this direction for about nine months, but will now do it entirely on his own.
He said that this is a little scary. With an organization and a team, he said, there is always someone to help, advise or guide, while going your own way feels completely different. He added that he considers fear part of development and is looking forward to seeing what his media project becomes if he puts enough time and effort into it.
Background
Cybersport.ru wrote that chopper had been listed as inactive at Team Spirit since December 2025 and officially left the club on Nov. 6. Shortly before the announcement, he said he no longer planned to return to the pro CS scene. The outlet added that he has streamed actively for almost a year, covered tournaments as a community caster and taken part in various media activities.
Why it matters
chopper, who officially left Team Spirit on Nov. 6, plans to run his media project on his own, with a focus on educational videos about CS.
