Counter-Strike 2 analyst kassad said Team Spirit are one roster change away from building their own era, Cybersport.ru reported on Oct. 11. He shared the view in a post on X.
According to the outlet, kassad believes Spirit could dominate the pro scene, but only with a swap: removing zont1x and adding b1t. The outlet reported that he then said the move will unfortunately never happen, because b1t is Ukrainian.
The next candidate
The analyst named a fallback. In the outlet’s account, the next candidate in his view is HeavyGod, followed by a question in parentheses about whether HeavyGod speaks Russian.
Spirit at ESL Pro League
Cybersport.ru tied the comment to Spirit’s recent result. The team finished fourth at ESL Pro League Season 24, losing to MOUZ in the semifinal. They then fell to Aurora Gaming in the series for a medal.
Why it matters
Cybersport.ru reported the comment after Team Spirit's fourth-place finish at ESL Pro League Season 24; it is one analyst's opinion, not a move.
